About Us

A.png

Located in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, The Pinball Office is a friendly Pinball Club with around 30 pinball machines and arcades (Japanese candy cabs) all set on Free Play. Our machines will always be well maintained with a sparkling clean (and waxed) playfield. We have ZERO tolerance for any scruffy or dirty machines :)

By car,  we are 30 miles away from Central London, Cambridge, Luton and Basildon. We have a large carpark with a guaranteed space for every visitor.

If you will be traveling by train, is good to know that we are located just 2 minutes away from the Sawbridgeworth train station.

We have a self service tea/coffee/soft drinks counter and in case you are hungry, 2 cafes right on site that serve Breakfast and Lunch

If you're a pinball afficionado or a newbie to the lure of the silverball then there is no finer place anywhere to indulge in the pleasure.

I've been lucky enough to play pinball all over the world in a variety of venues for more years than I can ever admit and Chris' collection is quite simply the best I've ever encountered. (and yes this includes the excellent museum in Budapest) He has a collection of stunningly well maintained machines which beg to be played by young and old alike. There's a coffee machine which brews up a great bean as well.

My only issue is that he's not able to be open more as he has a real job too. Excellent on site parking just adds a final touch to complete the package.

There is absolutely nothing to fault here. If Carlsberg made pinball rooms...they wouldn't be as good as this!

Utterly superb! Entry numbers are limited so there's a machine for everyone at all times, every machine is in full working order and all are in immaculate condition too.

I was supremely impressed by this venue. Chris was friendly and welcoming and clearly has a lot of pride in his venture. Great value entry for 3 hours with all machines set to freeplay.

Free onsite parking too. Everything you need for a fun weekend pinballing adventure! I hope to visit again :-)

Far exceeded expectations! So many machines even one of my favourites, all working perfectly and you can tell they are cleaned regularly.

Cannot recommend it enough plus the staff are lovely. We took two 12 year olds and they enjoyed it as much as we did, what a find!

This is an amazing location to play pinball at, whether you are new to the game, a veteran or you played long ago and are looking to get reacquainted with the joys of the silver ball.

The owner and host Chris is lovely and incredibly welcoming. He is there for the sessions and always available to give new visitors an introduction to The Pinball Office.

The machines themselves, spread over two rooms, are mostly modern tables (rather than classics) with 2-3 or so rotating in or out each month (you can find an up-to-date list on the website).

It is very easy to drive to with plentiful free car parking and only a couple of minutes walk from Sawbridgeworth railway station.

Definitely come along and give it a try, I am lucky to have it so close to my home and am there most Saturdays. Hope to see you there soon.

Beautifully maintained machines, I felt very lucky to be able to play on some classics from the 90s which brought back great memories and also enjoy a variety of the latest tables.

I had played on several modern Stern tables before but this was a rare opportunity to experience tables from other companies too which was so cool.

Went with my wife and teenage son, Chris is a very welcoming host and creates an inclusive vibe which isn't intimidating to any beginners, always friendly and on hand if you have any queries.

So I highly recommend a visit, already planning my next trip 😁 Thank you Chris for a fabulous time, be nice to chat a bit more with you about what is obviously your passion ( I got too distracted playing!)

My son, nephew (both 12) and I felt the time went by so quickly. The machines were in superb condition. Some must be 30 years old or more but they looked and played like they were brand new.

The place was clean, parking was free, hot and cold drinks available and very reasonably priced too.

We’ll definitely be back! These guys clearly care about what they do and it shows.

For my birthday my husband and teenage sons took me here and I loved it.

I have always loved playing pinball so this was a real treat for me.
Fantastic value for money.
I have mobility issues so being able to park really close was great and then there was a lift up to the floor.

Having all the machines closed together was great too, this made getting around them easier.
There is somewhere where you can sit and have a breather and a cuppa.

This was a fab surprise and I loved every minute.
