The Pinball Office will be hosting a regular league twice a month.

 

Season 5 will be starting from Saturday 20th April 2024. This is an IFPA certified league.

This will be based on a Best Game format. You will have 8 games to play, listed on a scoresheet, that you complete and hand in when you’ve finished (getting someone to sign and verify the scores are correct). You only get 1 attempt at each game on the list.

The winner of each event will receive free entry to the Office, with an ongoing leaderboard kept of everyone’s results. The winner and best newcomer at each event receive a free entry voucher for their next voucher!

If you attend at least 4 of 6 meets, you will be eligible for the finals. There will be trophies for the top 3 players!

How does it work?
Book onto one of the two sessions on the League days as normal via The Pinball Office website in advance (either 10:30 - 13:00 or 14:00 - 17:00).
When you arrive, let us know you’d like to take part in the league (there’s no extra charge!). You’ll be given a list of games to play – between 8-10). Everyone gets the same list of games.
You then play 1 game only of each of the pinballs on the list (in any order), record your score, get someone to sign each one as a witness, and submit the completed score sheet.
You only get 1 go at each pinball on the list, and no chance to practise on it beforehand (that way it's the same for everyone).
Once you’ve handed in your score sheet, relax – your scores will be added to a spreadsheet which will be shown on a screen, so you can see how you compare to others.

Celebrate @Andypc's 50th birthday with us at the Pinball Office on 14th April!

 

Registration will be £20 for children (under 14) and £25 for adults. Parking is an additional £3 per car if you wish to park onsite.

Hitting the Jackpot at the Office - Tournament

Registration will be £20 per person, plus £3 per vehicle if parking on site.

The top 2 players in qualifying will have a bye to the final.

Players 3-6 will then play in a single match semi-final, with the winning 2 players going into the final.

The final will be 4 players playing 3 games, scored in a 4-2-1-0 format (with a tie breaker game if there's a draw).

If positions 3-6 include more than four players, a tie break game will be played on a randomly allocated machine. Players will be eliminated until only the required amount qualifies for the semi-finals.

A Flippin' Good Day at The Office - Tournament

In January The Pinball Office will have been open for a year to the public - and so we are delighted to announce The Pinball Office First Anniversary Celebration Event on Sunday 15th January 2023!

 

This event is an official International Flipper Pinball Association (IFPA) event and all are welcome - the last competition in April had an even mix of ‘veteran’ and new players.

 

Registration will be £20 per person, which includes free parking on site. Registration opens at midday on Sunday 20th November on the Pinball Office website under the "Book Online" page. First come first served.

 

We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. We will also have under 16s prizes.

Save the date for our first competition at The Pinball Office on Sunday 3rd April!
