The Pinball Office will be hosting a regular league twice a month.

Season 4 will be starting from Saturday 6th January 2024. This is an IFPA certified league.

This will be based on a Best Game format. You will have 8 games to play, listed on a scoresheet, that you complete and hand in when you’ve finished (getting someone to sign and verify the scores are correct). You only get 1 attempt at each game on the list.

We award free entry on your next visit to the first place and to the top newcomer each week!

After 3 months (or 6 meets), there will be bigger prizes for the top 3 players (to be announced nearer the time).

How does it work?
Book onto one of the two sessions on the League days as normal via The Pinball Office website in advance (either 10:30 - 13:00 or 14:00 - 17:00).
When you arrive, let us know you’d like to take part in the league (there’s no extra charge!). You’ll be given a list of games to play – between 8-10). Everyone gets the same list of games.
You then play 1 game only of each of the pinballs on the list (in any order), record your score, get someone to sign each one as a witness, and submit the completed score sheet.
You only get 1 go at each pinball on the list, and no chance to practise on it beforehand (that way it's the same for everyone).
Once you’ve handed in your score sheet, relax – your scores will be added to a spreadsheet which will be shown on a screen, so you can see how you compare to others.

Season 4 dates:

  1. 6th January

  2. 20th January

  3. 3rd February

  4. 17th February

  5. 2nd March

  6. 16th March

  7. Finals - 6th April

Other things to note:

  • The games will be chosen at random for each meet.

  • While you can attend as many meets as you’d like, you will need to attend at least 4 sessions (out of 6) in the 3 month period to qualify for the quarterly prizes.

  • Extra balls will be turned off on each game.

Finals format TBC but it's likely to be the same as the last event - top 16 qualify, head to head rounds with best of 3, with top seed from qualifying choosing the first game, second seed choosing the second game, and decider (if needed) chosen by the top seed. I expect the comp to finish 20:00-20:30 based on previous events.

If there are more than 16 players tied for the final, a tie break game will be played on a randomly allocated machine. (I will make a spinning wheel this time!)
